WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commissicn of the City of Annheim did receive a verified Petition for Varience f:om

Otivners; RONALD Go and RAYMOND Go WOOD9 2280 Newport Boulevardy Costa Mesa, California, Agents
of certain real property situated in tne City of Anaheim9 County of Orange~ State of California, i
as described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and referred to herein as though set forth in full

WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public heariag at the City Hell in the City of Aneheim on
AugLSt 6q 19629 at 2:00 o'clock P.M., noti.ce of said public hearing having been duly ~ven es cequired by
law md in accordance with the pcovisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, Chapter 18.68, to hear end consider evidence for
and against said proposed variance and to investigate and make finding's end recommendetions in connection therewith;

NHEREAS, seid Commission, after due inspection, investigation, and study mede by itself end in its behelf,
end efter due consideration of all evidence and reports offered as said hearing, does find and determine the following
facts:
1. That the petitioner requests a variance from the Aneheim Muaicipal Code: Section 18~320060 to permit
the establishment of a two~~story mttltiple family residential apartment deve'lopmento
2o That there are no exceptional or extraordinary circumstances or conditfons applicable
to the property involved or to the intended use of the pxoperty that do apply generally to
the property or. class of use in the same vicinity and zonea
3o That the requested •variance will be materially detrimental to •the public welfare or
injurtous •to the property or improvements in such vicinity and zone in which the property is
•locatedo
4o That the requested variance ~rill adversely affect the Comprehensive General Plana
5o That the proposed development wauld be incompatible with the single f amily develop-
ment surrounding sub~ect property to ~he north and westo
6. That the General Plan proposes sub~ect property for R~-1, One Family Residential
development,:
7o That f ive (5) persons appeared in opposition to sub,ject petition9 one whom presented
