RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIY, OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT

WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commiasion of the City of Aneheim did receive a vedfied Petition for Recla'ssi$ca-

erty situated in the City of .Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California as followst The
West half of the Northeast quarter..of the Northwest quarter of the Northeast quar+,er of
Section 22~ in Township 4 South, Range 11 West, Rancho Los Coyotes, as shown on a map
thereof recorded in beok 51, page 11, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County

WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commission did hold a pyblic headng at the City Hall dn the City of Anaheim on
August 20~ 1962~ at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of eaid publlc heariug heving been duly givea es required
by law end in accordance with thP provisions of the Aneheim Municipel Code, Chepte~ 18.72,to hear and conaider evi-
dence for end against said proposed reclassification end to investigate and make findiags end cecommendations ia
connection therewith: end
WHEREAS, said Commisaion, after due iaspection, investigation, and study mede by itaelf and in its behelf,
ead after due consideration of all evidence and reports offeced at seid hearing, does find aad determine the following
facts:
1. That the petitioner proposes a reclessificetion of tlse ebove described property from the R-A~ Itesiden'L' ial
Agricultural, Zone to the R-3, Multiple Family Residential, Zone to develop a single story
planned-unit multiple family residential development.
2. That the proposed raclassification of sub3ect property is not necessary and/or
desirable for the orderly and proper development of the co~mnunityo
3, That the proposed develupment is inGOmpatible to the existing single family develop-
ment surrounding subject property as reilected on the Preliminary General.Plan, which in-
dicates low density residential development in the vicinity of subject property.
4. That although the development is acceptable architecturally, it would constitute
spot zoning for multiple family use in a single f amily area, and should be proposed for
property located in a multiple family zoned art?a.
5. That f ifteen (15) persons appeared in opposition to sub3ect petition.
