A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
THAT PETITION FOR VARIANCE NO. 1520 BE GRANTED
WHEREAS, the City F'lenning Commiesioa of the City of Aneheim did ceceive a veri$ed Petition for Vaden.~a
from WARREN L. ELMBLAD, 2459 Level Avenue, Anaheim, California~ Owner of certain real prop-
erty situated in the City of Anaheim~ County of C3range, State of California described as
Lot No. 30 in Tract Noo 1940, and further described as 2459 Level Avenue, Anaheim, Cal-

WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commission did hold a pui~lfc hea~ing et the City Hell in the City of Anaheim
oa September 5~ 1962 et 2:00 o'clock P.M., noti~e of said public hearing haviag beea duly given es required
by lew end in accordence with the pmvisions of the Anaheim Municipel Code, Chapter 18.68,to heer and coaeider
evidence for and ogeinst seid proposed variance and to inves~igate end make findings and cecommendatioas in coaaec-
tlon therewith; end
WHEREAS, seid Commiasinn, efter due inspectioa, investigation, end study made by itaPlf ead in its behalf,
and efter due coasideretion of all evideace end repods offered as seid headng, does find and determine the following
facts:
1. Thet the petitioner ceq.uests e vacience fmm the Aneheim Municipal Code: Sectiott 18.24.030 (3) to
permit an encroachment of eleven (11) feet into the required rear yard, to construct an
addition onto an existing single family residence.
2. That there aee exceptionel or extreosdinery circumateaces or conditions applicable to the property involved
or to the inteeded use of the property thet do not epply genecally to the property or cless of u~e in the seme vicinity
end zone.
3. That the reqvested vadence is necessecy for the preservetion and enjoyment of a aubstantiel pmperty right
poasesscd bp other Qcoperty in the seme vicinity aad zone, and denied to the propedy ia question.
4. Thet the requested vedence will not be metedally detrimentel to the public welfate or injudous totheprop-
erty or improvements in such viclnity end zone in which the propeRy ia located.
5. That the requested vedaace will not edversely aEfect the Comprehensive Generel Plea.
6. That no one appeared in opposition to subject petition.
