SERIES 1962-63 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING OOMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEII~ ' REOOMSEENDING TO THE CITY OOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT i PETiTION FOR RECLASSIFICATION NOv 62-63-30 BE APPROVID ; WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim.did receive a verified Petition for Reclassif ication incorporating the frontaye, to a depth of sixty (60) feet measured from the planned highway right-o:-way, of the following described propertiest 1. Those properties lying on the north and south sides and alon~ Orangethorpe Avenue extending from Lemon Street to East Street. 2. Those properties lying on the east side of and along Lemon Street extending from a point approximatAly 337 feet northerly of the centerline of :.ommercial Street to the northerly.City I.imits. 3o Those properties lying on the west side of and along East Street from La Palma Avenue to the northerly City Limits. 4o Those properties lying on the nqrth side of La Palma Avenue extending from Pauline Street to East Street ; and WHHRFAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hear3ng at the City Hall ' in the City of Anaheim on October 1, 1962 at 2e00 0'Clock P.ld. notice of said public hearing having been duly given as rQquired by law and in accordance with the provivions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, Chapter 18072, to hear and consider evidsnce for and against said proposed reclassification and ta investigate and make f indings and recaamnendations in connection therewith; and WHERFASy said Commission, after due inspection, investigation, and study made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, does f ind and determine the following f actst 1. That sub3ect petition initiated by the Planning Com¢nission proposes a reclassification of the above describedproperty to a depth of sixty (60) feet from the planned highway right-of-way line of the ebutting straet from the sixty (60) foot P-L, Parking Landscaping, Zone to the fi:ty (50) foot P-L, Parking Landscaping, Zone and the incorporation of the difference of ten (10) feet inta the M-1, Light Manufacturing, 2one, except for that area on the south side of Orangethorpe Avsn~!e extending from approximately 2,546 to 2,656 feet westerly from the center.'line of East Street v~hich shall be incorporated into the M-2, Heavy Manufacturing,Zone. 2o That the proposed reclassification of subject property is necessary and/or desirable for the orderly and proper development of the com¢nmity. 3. That the proposed reclassification of subject property does properly relate to the zones and the3r perm3tted uses locally established in close proximity to sub~ect property and to the zones and their permitted uses genarally estab- lished throughout the community. 4. That the existing sixty (60) foot P-L, Parkin Lendscaping Zones~ require a sixty (6U) foot setback and e twenty-five (25~ foot strip of landscaping, as eatablished by a subsequently amended portion o~ the Anaheim Municipel Code. 5. ihat the present provision of Code, Section 18.60, "P=L, Parking-Landscaping, Zone" requires a fifty (50) foot setback with a twenty (20) foot strip of "- landscaping. 6.
