A RESOLUI'ION OF THE CITY PLANNING GOMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
REW;dMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE~CITY OF ANAHEIM~ THE ADOPTION
Ofi A WRITTEN POLICY RELATIVE TO 'lT~iE RECEIPT OF IDENTICAL PEfITIONS
FOR A RECLASSIFICATIONi CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AAID~OR VARIANCE WITHIN
SIX (6) NANTHS OF A PREVIOUS DENIAL.
YVHEREAS, it has been a verbal policy of the Planning Commission
and the City Council to receive identical petitions on given parcels of
property no less than six.(6) months following ';iie denial of an original
petition for Reclassification, Conditional Use Permit, and~or Variance,
AND '
WHEREAS, formal incorporation of said policy into the Council
Policy Manual is considered necessary for public information and conven-
ience, AND
WHEREAS, a period of six (6) months would normally be required
for any change in the petitioner's position or conditions affected on
subject property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RE50LVID that the following policy be incorporated
into the Council Policy Manuale
It is the policy of the City Council that if any given
petition for Reclassification, Conditional Use Permit
and~or Variance is denied by the Commission or Council
on a given parcel of property, and initiation of an
identical petition shall not be received by the Planning
Department less than One Hundred and Eighty (180) days
from the date of said denial.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me this 15th day
of October, 1962.
