REOOMMENDING TO THE CITY OOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THE TERMINATION OF PETITION

Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Section 6; thence North 0° 39' 00"
West along the Westerly line of said Section 6 a distance of 521090 feet; thence
North 89°. 2'1'. 20" East parallel with .the -Southexl'y. .line. .of said Section 6 a dis-
tance of 899~18 feet; thence South 0~ 46' 00" East 521a90 feet to the Southerly

(Said property is located at.the Northeast corner of La Palma and Magnolia Avenues); AND
WHEREAS, the Planning Commi.ssion on aAarch 4, 1957, by Resolution Noo. 183, Series
1956-57 approved the Reclassification of subject property from the P-L, Parking Land-
scaping,. Zone to.the C-2, General CommeT.cia1, Zone; AND
WHEREAS, the City.Council on April 9, 1957, by Resolution No. 3786, approved the
reclassification of said proper'ty from the P-L, Paxking Landscaping,. Zone to the C-2,
General Commercia'l, Zone subj.ect to the fol.lowing conditionsa
1~ That the owner of subject property place on record appropriate C-2 Deed
Restrictions as required by the City of Anaheim and approved by the City
Attorneyo
2o Said change of zone shall not become effective unless within sixty (60) days
or such further time as tYie Council may grant, the restrictions herein required
to be imposed upon the property shall have been executed by the owners of the
property, submitted to the City fDr approvai and filed on record, nor until
deeds for street widening or utility purposes, ~rhen required, have been ~xecuted
and dellvered to the Cit~ AT1T)
WHEREAS, on May 10, 1957, the Assistant City Attorney submitted to the petitioner of said
reclassification the necessary deed rzstriction °orms, said forms never having been returned
to the City Clerk; AA1D
WHEREAS, on November 18, 1958, the City Clerk advised the petitioner that said file rrras
being returned to the Planning Department and the petitianer was requested to appear on ar
before December 18, 1958, to show cause why said pe~ition should not be returned to the
City Council for terminetion; A~
WHEREAS; said petitioner did not appear nor have the conditions stated in City Council
Resolution of Intent Noe 3786 been completed; AND
WHEREAS~ subsequent street dedication for the north side of La Palma Avenue easterly
of Magnolia Avenue ahd the east side of Magnolia Avenue North of La Palma Avenus incorporat-
ing the entirety of sub3ect propert except for the northerly ten (10) feet iher2of, result-
ing in a.strip of land only ten (10~ feet in width and three hundred (300) feet in length
subject to reclassificationo
