A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMLSSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
RECONQVIENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT
PETITION FOR RECLASSIFICATION NO. 62-63-49 BE DENIED
WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commission of the City of Aneheim did receive a verified Petition for Recle'ssifica-
tionfrom CARL PRESSEL and ERNA PRESSII., 515 South Dickel, Anaheim, California, Owners of
certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California
as described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and referred to herein as though set forth in full

WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commisaion did hold a pyblic hearing et the City Hall •in the City of Aneheim on
DeCember 10~ 1962~ at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public hearieg having been duly given ea requi~ed
by law and in accordance w3W the provlsions of the Maheim Municipel Code, Chapter 18.72,to heer ead eonsidor evi-
dence for end egeinst said proposed reclessification and to investigete and meke findings end recommendetions in

WHEREAS, aeid Commission, after due inspectlon, invesUgatlon, end atudy mede by itself end in its behelf,

1. Thet the petitioner proposea e tecleseificetion of the above described propetty ftom the R-2~ Two Family
Residential, Zone to the M-1, Light Manufacturing, Zone, to establish a blacksmith and
welding shop. .
2a That the proposed re~lassification of sub3ect property is not necessary and/or
desirable for the orderly and proper development of the comrrunity.
3. That the proposed use would.be incompatible with the single family residential land
use ad3acent and in close proximity to subject property.
4. That the pxoposed use would be in conflict with the Preliminary General Plan,
which pxo~ects low density residential development for subject property.
5. That no ons appeared in opposition to subject petit3on, but that a letter upposing
sub3ect petition was receivedo
