A RESOLUTION OF THE .ITY PLANNING OOt~1G7ISSIGN OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM REOOMMENDING TO THE CITY
WUNCIL OF TF~ CITY OF ANAHEIM THE_AMENDIdEI1T OF TITLE EIGHTEIN, CfiAPTER 18.04 ZONING ODDE -
GENERAL PROVISIOAIS, BY THE AMENDMENT OF SECTION 18.04.090 (2-h-1)t "RE'JERSID OORNER I.~T"~ OF
~ THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL OODE
WHEREAS= Code Section 18004.090 (2-h-1) provides that a six (6) foot fence, wall or 3
hedge may be erected in the normal inside side and rear yard, except that such fence, ~vall ~
or hedge may not extend along the rear yard beyond the narmal building set-back line of the
key lot created by the reversed corner lot; and
a
~'HEREAS, this Code provision substantially rsduces the usable rear yard araa of the i
reversed corner lot; and j

WHF.f~EAS, a reduction oi the wall setback fro~n twer.ty.-five (25) feet to twelve and ~
one-half (12~) feet would not be detrimental to the key lot; and +

WHERFAS~ the City Planning Commission deems it necessary that the amendment of said ~
provision is necessary in order to provide for the public health, safety, an~ general welfare; •

WHERFAS, the City Planning Commission did initiate and conduct a public hearing on the ;
lOth day of December, 1962, and did adopt said Amendment at a Regular Meeting on December
10, 1962; • ~
