RESOLUTION NO. 603, SERIES 1962-63 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM RECOMMENDING TO TFYE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT PETITION FOR RECLASSIFICATION N0. 62-63-59 gE DENIED WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commission of the City of Aneheim did receive a verified Pe~ition for Recle'ssifica- tion from DAVE DOMRIES~. 706 South Knott Avenue,. Anaheim, California, Owner; NEIL REITMAN' 10582 West Katella, Anaheim, .Calif.arnia, Agent of certain real pr.operty situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange~ State of California described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and referred to herein as though set forth in full ; and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold e public headng at the City Hall in the City of Aneheim on January 7, 1963~ at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public hearing 6eving been duly g[ven as required by law and in accordance with the provisions of the Meheim Muaicipal Code, Chepter 18.72, to hear aad consider evi- dence for end egainst said pcoposed reclassification and to investigate end mfilse findings e:td recommendatioas in connection therewith: and WHEREAS, said Commission, a8er due inspection, investigation, and study mede by itself end in ita behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and teports offezed at said hearing, does find end determine the following fects: 1. 'ihet the petitioner proQoses a reclassificetion of the ebove dear3bed property from ffie R-Ay Residential Agricultural, Zone to the R-3, Multiple Family Residential, Zone to permit the establishment of a two-story planned-unit multiple family residential development. 2. That the proposed reclassification of subject property is not necessary.and~or desirable for the orderly and proper development of the community. 3. That subject petition would be in conflict ~rith the Preliminary General Plan which projects subject property for low-density residential use permitting a maximum of. seven (7) dwelling units per net residential acre, whereas subject development proposes a density uf thirty-five (35) dwelling units per net residential acre, or a medium density residential develonment. 4. That the circulation as shown on the plot plan was inadequate and would be detrimental to the health,safety,and genesal welfare of the future tenants, since subject property is more than 600 feet in depth which would make it impossible for proper ingress and egress for trash trucks and fire equipment. 5. That three persons appeared in opposition to subject petition.
