A RESOLUTION OF TfiE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEII4I
THAT PETITION FOR VARIANCE N0. 1565 BE GRANTED
WHEREAS, the City Pleaning Commission of the City of Anaheim did recave a verified Petition for Verience
from FREE MEfHODIST CHURCH OF ANAHEIM, 1171 North West Street, Anaheim, California, Owner
of certain real property situated in the City of Maheim, County of Orange, State of Cal-
ifornia, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and xeferred to herein as though set forth
in full '
; and
WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commisaion did hold a publlc hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim
on April 15~ 1963~ at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public hearing having beea duly givea as required
by law and in accordence with the provisions of the Aneheim Municipel Code, Chapter 18.68,to hear and consider
evidence for and egainst said proposed variance and to iavesqigute and meke flndings aad recommeadations ia eonnec-
tion therewith; and
WHEREAS, seid Commission, a8er due ictspection, iavestigation, and study made by itself ead in its behelf,
and after due consideration of uil evidence and cepo~ts offeced as said hearing, dces $nd aad dete~ine the followiag
Eacts:
1. That the peti4ioner requests a varience ~ftom the Aaeheim Municipal Code: SeCtion I8.04.030 (2-a) ~ which
requires construction of a six (6} foot masonry wall along a portion of the northern boundary
of subject property, to permit the waiver of said block wall requirement as indicated on
Exhibit No. 1~
2. Thet there are exceptional or extreordinery circumstences or oonditions appliceble to the property involved
or to the intended use of the proparty that do not appiy geaerally to t2te property or cless of nse in the same viciaity
ar.d zone.
3. Tha; the requested verience is aecessary for the preservat~ion end cajoyment of a substential property right
possessed by athet peoperty in the same r•icinity end zone, aad deaied to the pmperty ia quesHon.
4. That the requested variance will aot be materially dPtrimental to the pnbHc welfare or injurious to 4he pmp-
erty or improvements ia such vicinity end zone ia which the propecty ia located.
5. That the requested varienc$ will r.ot adversely affect the Comgeehtnsive Genecal Plan.

lo Construction of a six (6) foot chain link fence a].ong the westerly one hundred and
fifty three (153) feet of the northerly boundary of subject property, in lieu of the required
six (6) foot masonry wall, as shown on Exhibit No. 1.
2. Subject to the completion of Conditional Use Permit No. 218. ~
