RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY..OOUNCII..OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT
PETITION FOR RECLASSIFICATION N0. 62-63-114 BE APPROVED ;•,''

WHERFAS, the City Planning Commission of the Cit}.~f Anaheim did initiate a Petition
for Reclassification of certain real property s.ituated in the City of Anaheim, County of ~~
Orange, State of California, described as Lot Noso 1 thru 11 of Tract No. 3258, and further
described as Sumac Lane in Txact No. 3258 ?
;and
WIiEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the
City of Anaheim on May 13, 1963, at 2:00 o'clock P„M., notice of said public hearing having
been duly given as required by law and in accordance with the provisions of the Anaheim
Municipal Code, Chapter 18.72, to hear.and consider evidence for and against said proposed
reclassification and to investigate and make findings and recommendations in connection
therewith; and
WHERFAS, said Commission, after du2 inspection, investigation, and study made by itself and
in"it's behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said
hearing, does find and determine the fallowing factss •
' la That a reclassification is prop~sed on the above described property from the
R•=A; Residential Agricultural, Zone to the A-3, Multiple Family Residential, Zone for
the purpose of reclassifying an apartment area i~to the proper zone.
2. That subject property was. r.ecorded as..a...mu].tiple family residential tract in •
the County of Ornage.,3n August, 1957, ennexed into the City of Anaheim in September,
1957, the buildings thereon were const~ucted and inspected by the Anaheim Building .
Department, and 3ccepted as R-3, Multiple Family Residential, Zone land but never formally
reclassified into the City of Anaheim's R-3 Zoningo '

NOW, THEREFURE, BE IT RESOLVID that the Anaheim City Planning Commission does hereby
recommend to the City Council of the City of Anaheim that sub~ect Petition for Reclassification
be approved and, by so doing~ that Title 18-Zoning of the Anaheim Municipal Code be amended
to exclude the above described property from the R-A, Residential Agricultural, Zone and
to incorporate said described property in the R-3, Multiple Family Residential, Zone.
THE FOREGOIIJG RESOLUTION is signed and approved by this th day of May, 1963.
