A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANA.xiEIM
REC06'[MENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT
PETITION FOR RECLASSIFICATIOH N0.63-64-26 BE DENIED
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Aneheim did receive a ve:iEied Petition foc Recla'ssifica-
tionfrom HENRY KLAUSING, JOSEPHINE HUNT, c% Harold McAbe9 34b0 North Harbor, Fullerton,
California, Owners; CHARLES A~ HIRSHMAN9 Suite 3, 12431 Oxnard Street, North Hollywood,
California, Agent of certain real property situated in the City of Maheim, County of
Orange9•State of California, described as Lot 6 in block 6 of the Golden S+,ate Tract, as
shown on the map thereof recorded in book 4, page 66, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said
Orange Gountyo Lot 8 in block 6 and Lot 7 in block 7 of the Golden State Tract, as shown
on the map thoreof recorded in book 4, page 66, Miscellaneous Mapsy records of said Orange
Countiy
; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold e public heacing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on
September 49 1963, at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of seid public hearing having been duly given as cequired
by law end in acco:dance with the pcovisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, Chepter 18.72, to hear and coneider evi-
dence foc and ageinst said p:oposed reclassification end to investigate end make findings and :ecommendations in
connection therewith: and
WHERGAS, said Commission, efter due inspection, investigation, and study mede by itself end in its behalf,
and after due considecation of all evidence and reports effered at said hearing, does find and determine the following
fects:
1. That the petitioner pcoposes a teclassification of the above desccibed p:opedy f°om the R-A, Residential
Ay~ic~l~ural, Zene to the R-3; Multiple Family Residential, Zone to construct a multiple
family subdivisiono
2o That the proposed reclassification of subject property is not necessary and~or
desirable for the orderly and proper development of the communitya
3a That the proposed reclassification of subject property does not properly relate to
the zones and their permitted uses locally established in close proximity to subjeot
property and to the zones and their permi.tted uses generally established throughout the
communitye
4o That subject property has been designated for light indust•rial devei~pment on the
proposed General Plan adopted by the Commissiono
5o That no physical change has taken place which Hould justify 2ny deviation from
the designated zoning of subject and abutting properties~
6o That an existing industrial development presently existsy ancl atto~her is under
construction in close proximity to subject property, making the propo:=~ed residential develop-
ment incompatible to the existing uses establishedo
7. Tnat L•he Commissicn reaffirms its position in maintaining subjsct and oi:her p•roper-
ties in the Northeast Industrial Area for industrial purposeso
8o That one person appeared, and letters were received from ihe City of Placentia, Orange
County Planning Commission, Anaheim Chamber of Commerce, and the~ Anaheim Board of Reaitors

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planning Commission does hereby recommend
to the City Council of the Ciry of Anaheim that subject Petition for ReclassiEicetion be denied on the besis of the
afo:ementioned findings.
