PC 1963-1964-912{' ' , \^'~ ~:~ E ' ~ RESOLUTION N0. 912, SERIES 1963-64 , A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIhf RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THg CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT PETITION FOR RECLASSIFICATION N0. 63-64-32 BE APPROVED ' I ! WHEREAS, the City Planning Cammission of the City of Aneheim did recelve a verified Petition for Reclassifica- tionfrom PAUL C„ CARTER9 203 South Bush9 Anaheim, California, bwner; IAY Ao OOX, 2861 Gerald ~ircle, Anaheim, California, Agent of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as Lot Noo 19, Block A, in the Lorelei Tract, and further deccribed as 203 South Bush, Anaheim, Califcrnia ; and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold e public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anahcim on September 16~ 1963, at 2:00 o'clock P.M. notice of said public hearing having been duly given es required by law and in accordence with the provisions of the Maheim Murticipel Code, Chepter 18.72, to hear end consider evidence for and ageinst said pioposed reclessificetion and to investigate and make findings and cecommendetions in connection therewith; and WHEREAS, seid Commission, efter due inspection, investigation, end study made by itself end in its behelf, and efter due consideration of all evidence end ieports offered at seid headng, does find and determine the following fects: 1. Thet the petitioner proposes a reclassification of the above described property from the R-1~ One Family Residentialy Zone to the R-39 Multiple Family Residential, Zone to construct a 4-unit apart- ment building on subject propertyo . 2. Thet the proposed reclassification of subject property is necessary and/or desirable for the orderly and pea per development nf the community. 3. Thet the pcoposed reclassification of subject pcoperty does properly relate to the zones end their permitted usea locelly esteblished in ciose pcoximity to subject pcoperty and to the zones end their permitted uses genecelly estab- ~ lished fhroughout the community. 4. That the proposed reclassification of subject property does not require dedication for and standard improvement of abutting streets because said property does relate to and ; abut upon streets and highways which are improved to carry the type and quantity of traffic, which will be generated by the permitted uses, in accordance with the circulation element of the General Plano ' 5. That one person appeared in opposition to subject petition. ~ ~, ~ Rl-A -1- ' '; i ; ~. ~ i; , `~ a `~ ~ `I 1 NOG, THER~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim Clty Plaaning Commisslon does hereby zecommend to the City Council of the City of Anaheim thet subject Petition for Reclassificetion be epproved end, by so doing, thet Title 1&ZoninQ of the Aneheim Municipal Code be amended to exclude the ebQVe described propecty from the R-1, One Family Residential, . Zone and to incorporate said described property in the R-3, Multiple Fzmily Residential, Zone upon the following conditions which are hereby found to be a necessary prerequisite to the proposed use of subject property in order to preserve the safety and general welfare of the citizens of the City of Anaheimo 1. That the owners of subject property shall pay to the City of Anaheim the sum of $25000 per dv~elling unit to be used for park and recreation purposes, saiu amount to be paid at the time the building permit is issuedo 2. That trash storage areas shall be provided in accordance with approved plans on file in the office of the Director of Publ?c Works, pxicr to final building inspectione 3.
