That the petitioner requests a variance from the Aneheim Municipal Code: Section 18e32a120 whiCh required 1~ spaces per dwelling un3t in a garage to permit the development of subject property with carportso 2. That thece ace exceptional or extraordinary ci:cumsfences or conditions applicable to the pcoperty ineolved or to the intended use of the property that do not npply genecally to the property or class of use in the sar!e viciniry end zone. 3. That the cequested va:ience is necessery for the pseservatian end enjoyment of a substantial property right possessed by other pcopecty in the seme vicinity and zone, and denied to the property in question. 4. NOird9 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planning Commission does liereby grant subject Petition for Variance, upon the following cor~ditions whicti are hereby found to be a necessary prerequisit~ to the proposed use of the subject property in order to preserve the safety and general welfare of the Citizens of the City of Anaheimo lo That the owners of subject property shall deed to the City of Anaheim a strip of land 32 feet in width, from the centerline of the streety along Romneya Drive for street widening purposeso ~ 2o That street improve~nent plans shali be prepared and all engineering requirement~ of the City of Anaheim along Romneya Drive, such as curbs and gutters, sidewalks, street grading and paving, drainage facilities, or other appurtenant work shall be completed as required by the City Engineer and in accordance with standard plans and specif ications on file in the office of the Ci~y Engineer, and that a bond in an amount and form satisfactory to the City of Anaheim, shal be posted with the City to gua•rantee the installation of said engineering requirementse , 3o That the owners of subject property shall pay to the City of Anaheim the sum of $~v00 per front foot9 along Romneya D*ive9 for street lighting purposesa 4a That the owners of 'subject property shd.ll pay to the City of Maheim9 the sum of $25000 per dwelling unit to be used for park and recreation purpuses, said amount to be paid at the time the building permit is issuedo , 5e That trash storage areas shall be provided in accordance with approved plans on file in the off ice of the Director of Public Works, prior to final building inspeci:iono , 6o That the one (1) foot strip be acquired to provide access to Lodge Streete 7e That Conditaon Noso 1, 2, 3, and 6, above mentioned, shall be complied with within a period of 180 days frpm date hereof, o~ such further time as the Commission may grant~ ~ So That subject ptoperty ;hall be developed substantia.lly in accoxdance with plans and specifications on file witt: tY;e City of Anaheim, under provisions of Variance Noo 1597, provided that Condition Noa 7 of Rssolution Noo 879 be amended to refer to Exhibit Nose 1 and 2, of Variance Noo 16030 9o That subject proper'ty shall aise be developed in accordance with Exhibi~ Noso 2, 3;. and 4, submitted under Variance Noo 1597y and that Condition Noso 8, 9, and 10, of Rosolution , Noo 679, Series 1963-64 are deleted by thi~• actiono 10, 7'hat the Lodge Avenue r•ron~age of s~~bject property shall be lar~dscaped as indicated under Vari_ance Noo 1603, Exh,ibit Nos~ 1 and 29 with trees and shrubs, said landscapiny shall be su~,mitted to and ap~pro~ved by the Euperintendent of Parkway Maintenance, and that said landscaping shall be installed prior to final building inspectiono ~ lle That the reax and side walls of the proposed carports shall be finished wit}i exterior; building materials, that enclosed storage cehinets of a minimum dimension of 36 by 42" high, running the enti*e width of each carport, shall be provided at the rear wall, and tha+. adequate bumper guards shall be provided to protect the interior walls of the carports, prior to final building inspectiono THE FORFGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me ~' day of October, 19630 . • CHAIRMAN A AHEIM CITY PLAN 'G CAMMISSION P,TTwTar, ~ ~~ ~~ L~~~ SECRETARY ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING OJMMISSION STATE OF CALIFORNIA ) QOUNTY OF ~RANGE ) sso CITY OF ANAHEIM ) IS Ann Krebs, Secretary of the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim, do hereby certify that th2 f~regoing resolution was passed and adopted at a meeting of the City Planning Cormnission of the City of Anaheim, held on September 30, 19639 at 2s00 o'c'lock P,Mo, by the following vote of the nembers thereof: AYESa O~MNISS7.ONERSa Allred, Camp9 Chavos, Gauer, Munga~l, Pebley9 Perry, Rowland, S iiic5 0 NOESo pOMMISSIONERSs None.
