PETITION FOR RECLASSIFTCATION N0.63-64-39 gE APPROVED
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commiasion oi the•City of Anaheim did initiate a Petition for ReClassif i-
'i cation on property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
! described.in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and referred to herein as though set forth in full

WHEP.EAS, the City Plenning Comtr~issiort did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on
September 30~ 1963, at 2:00 o'clock P.M. notice of said pubiic hearing heving b~een du?y given es cequired by
lnw and in accordance with the provisions of the Maheim Mu:!icipal Code, Chaptec 18.72, to hear and consider evidence
for and against seid pioposed reclassification end to investigate and make Gndings and recommendations in connection
therewith; and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after dne inspection, investigation, end study mede by itself end in its behalf, and
after due considecation of all evidence and repods offered et said hearing, does find und determine the following facts:
re "That tt;e City Planning Commission proposes the reclassification of the above
described property from the R-A, Residential Agxicultural, Zone to the C-1, Neighborhood
Commercial, Zone to place subject property in the appropriate zoneo
2. That the proposed reclessification of subject property is necessery and/or desirable foc the orderly and pro-
per development of the community.
3. That the ~:oposed reclessification of subject pcopedy does properly celate to the zones and their permitted
uses locally esteblished in close proximity to subject property end to the zones end their permitted uses genereliy.esteb-
lished throughout the coa~munity.
4o That subject property had been granted commercial zoning by the Coranty of
Orange, prior to its annexation to the City of Anaheimo
5o That no one appeared in opposition to subject petitiono

NC~V, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED thet the Anaheim City Flanning Commission does heeeby cecommend
to the City t;ouncil of the City of Anaheim that subject Petition for Re.2sssificntion be appcoved and, by so doing,
thet T?1e 1&Zoning of the Anaheim Municioal Code be emended to exclude the ebove described propocty from the
R,Ay Residential Agricultural, Zone and to incorporate said described property into the

~~, G1, Neighbcrhood Commercial, Zone upon the following conditions which are he~reby found
~ to be a necessary prerequisite to the proposed use of subject property in order to preserve
the safety and general w~lfare of the citizens of the City of Anaheim.
