A RESULUTION OF THE CITY PLADIN~NG CAMh1ISSI~N OF THE CITY' OF ANAHEIM
REOOMMENDING TO THE CITY OOUNCIL OF i"HE CI?'Y OF ANAHEIM THAT
PEfITION FOR RECLASSIFICAT:[ON NOo 63-•0~-55 BE APFROVED

WHEREAS, the City Planning Gonvnission of the City of Anaheim did initiate a Peti~tion for
Reclassification of cextain rea'1 pruperty si~uated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, described in ~xhibit "A" a't.tached hereto a~d referred to herein as
though set forth in full; and
WHEREASy the City Planning Coimnission did hold a public hearing atthe City Hall ir~ the
City of Anaheim on November 13, 1963, at 2e00 o°clock p~m~9 notice of said public hearing
havinq been duly given as required by 1aw and in accordance with the provisions of t he Anaheim
Municipal Code„ Chapter 18o'72q to hear and consider evidence for and against said proposed
reclassification and i:o in+restigate and make findings and recommendations in connection
therewithg and
WHEREAS, said Commission9 after due inspection9 inves~~i.qationy and study made by itself
and in its behalf, and after due consideration of a1'1 ev~idence ar~d sepo•rts offered at said
hearing; and
WHERFASy subject property v~~as 1~eclassified from the R•~AY R.esidential Ay.[icL~ltUraly and
R-3, Multiple Family Residential, Zones under Reclassification No~ 56-57-~1 in Ordinanca ,
No, 11849 dated October 22, 1957, to the C-1, Neighborhood Commerci,al, Zone; and
WHEREAS, subject property is located within the Edison Company easementy and is the
only property within said easement in the City of Aneheim ~lassified in the C-~Iy Neighborhood
Commercial, 2one; and
WHEREAS, the Edison Company does not pe•r.mit construction or development normal'ly con-
ducted on property classified in the C-1, Neighba•rhood Commercialy Zoneg and
WHFRFASy the owners of suhje'ct property propose to utiYize said property For a who'le~- !
sale nursery use which is a pe•rmitted use in the RaA, Residential Agxicuituraly Zone„
NOWy THEREFORE9 BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City P~anning Conun3ssion does hereby
recou~mend to the City CounciY of the City of Anaheim that subject Petition for Re~lassifica-
tion be approvedy and9 by so doingy that 'Pit1e 18-~Zoning of the Anaheim Municipal Code be
ammended •to exclude the above described property from the C-19 h~aighborhood Commercial., Zoney
and to incorporate said described property inta the R-A, Resi Agricultural9 Zoneo
