RESOLUTION-NO. 1011, SERIES 1963-64 A RESOLUTION OF THE CTTY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAH~IM THAT PETITION FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO.~_BE DENIED , Wf3EREAS, the City Pianning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive e verlfied Petltion for Conditional Use Permit from RINKER DEVELOPMENf CORPORATION, 10600 Katella Avenue, Anaheim, California, Owners; DEVELOPMENf COORDINATORS, 4100 West Commonwealth, Fullerton, California, Agents of. cer.tain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of. California, as described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and referred to, herein as though set forth in full ; end WHEREAS, the City Plaarnieg Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hail in the City of Anaheim on January 6~ 1964~ et 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public hearing having beep duly given as cequired by law end ih accocdance with the pmvisions of the Aneheim Municipel Code, Chepter 18:64, to henr and coneider evidence for and ageinst seid propc+sed cronditionel use and to inveatigete and meke findings end recommendatione in connection the:ewith; end • WHEREAS, seid Commiasion, after due inspection, investigation, end study made by itself end in its behelf, and after due consideretion of ell evidence ead reports offered et eaid heecing, does find ead determine the following facEs: 1. Thet the proposed uae is properly one for which a Conditionel Use Permit is euthorized by this Code, to wlt: establish a one and two-story multiple family planned residential development with carports vn SUiijeu'i: Hiupe't'i,yo 2. That the proposed use wi11 adversely affect the adjoining land uses and the growth and development of the area in which it is proposed to be located. 3e That access roadways are inadequate to handle the increased traff ic load which would result if subject property were developed for multiple famiiy use< 4. That the City's policy as expressed in the text of the General Plan has been to "encourage and maintain the basically low-density characteristics of Anaheim's living areas and their inherent value, beauty, and sa£ety, and to provide all ?iving areas with a full range of community facilities", together with their logical extension inta adjacent undeveloped areas where practicala 5. That seven single family subdivisions have been filed in the genez~al area in which subject property is located9 and for which developers have executed utilities annexation agreements with the City, subdividing approximately 155 acres into 682 single family lots, thus setting the pattern of de~elopment for subject and abutting properties for single family subdivision developmento 6. That because of the City°s previous commitments to single family developers, the Orange Unified School District has pro3ected its school needs on the basis of low density residential clevelo~ment on subject and abuttang pronerties which, i: altered, would require immediate reassessment by the Orange Unified School District of their school needs. 7.
