A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF TuE C:TY OF ANAHEIM THAT
PETITION FOR RECLASSIFICATION NO. 63-64-67 gE APPROVED
WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a verified Petition for Reclassifica-
tionfrom BROAl7NAY-HALE STORES, INCORPORATED, 600 South Spring Street, Los Angeles, California,
Owners; S.. CRAIG GRAINGER, 125 South Claudina Street, Anaheim, California, Agent of certain
real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as
described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and referred to herein as though set forth in full
; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the Citg Hail in the City of Maheim on
January 6~ 1964~ et 2:00 o'clock P.M. notice of seid public hearing having been duly given es required by
law and in accordance with the pcovisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, Chepter 18.72, to heer and consider evidence
for and egainst said ptoposed reclassification and to investigate and meke findings and recommendations in connection
therewith; and _
WHEREAS, said Commission, efter due inspection, investigation, and study made by itself and in its behalf, and
efter due consideretion of all evidence end reports offered et seid heering, does find and determine the following facts:
1. That the petitioner proposes a reclassification of the above described property from the R-A~ Residential
Agricultural, Zone to the C-2, General Commercial, Z~ne to establish a service stationo
2. Thet the proposed reclassificetion of subject property is necessary and/ar desireble for the ocderly end pro-
per development of the commutlity.
3. That the proposed reclassiGcetion of subject prope::y does properly :elete to the zones and their permitted
uses locally esteblished in cioae proximity to subject propecty and to the zones end their pecmitted uses gener.~Sy estab-
lished throughout the community.
4. That the proposed reclas~ification of subject property does not reQuire dedication
for and standard.improvement of abutting streets because said property does relate to
and abut upon streets.and highways ~nhich are improved to carry the type and quantity of
traffir,, which will be generated by the permitted uses, in accordance with the cir~.ulation
element of the General P1an.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED thet the Anaheim City Plenniag Commiseion doea h~iCby recommend
to the City Council of the City of Aneheim that subject Pelition for Reclasaificetion be eppmved end, by so doing,
that Title 1&Zoning of the Aneheim Municipal Code be amended to exclude the ebove deaceibed pmperry from the
R-A, RESIDEM'IAL AGRICULTURAL, ZONE, and to incorporate said.;escribed property into the
C-2, GENERAL COMNERCIAL, ZONE, upon the following conditions which are hereby found to be
a necessary prerequisite to tt:e proposed use of subject property in order to preserve the
safety and general welfare of the citizens of the City of Anaheimo
1. That the completion of these reclassification proceedings is contingent upon the
granting of a conditional u~c p~r~it~
