A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING C06d1dISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
RECO[~NDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT
GENERAL PLAN AMENDMEN'P N0. 1 BE DISAPPROVED
-GHER~AS, the City Council of tho City of Aneheim did adopt e General Plan by
Resolution No. 63R-869, shoaing the general description and extent of land uses within
the City and indinating the present belief of the Counail as to possible future develop-
ment and redevelopment of ls:nd within the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a verified
Petition for F:ealassification No. 63-64-71, whioh petition :~as impliaations on policies
as expressed on said General Plan; and
Wf~REAS, in conjunation with the notice of the hearing on said reolassification,
notioe was also given regarding the oonsideration oP an amendment to the General Plan in
the general loaation and viainity of subject proporty of ssid reolessifioetion; and
YPf~REAS, the City Planning Commission ~id hold a publia hearing at the City Hell in
the City of Anaheim on January 6, 1964 at 2:0~ o'oloak P.M., notiae of seid publia hearing
having been duly given as required by law and in aooordanoe with the provisions of the
Aneheim Municipal Code, to hear and consider evinance for and against seid Amendment to
the General Plan and said proposed Petition for Re~iassifioation to investigate and make
Yindings and reao~nendations in conneotion therewith; 4-~1
VGHEREAS, said Commission after due inspection, investigation, anu ~t~~~iv made by itself
an3 in its behalf and afl;er due consideration oP all avidenco and roports offered at seid
hearing DOES HEREBY FIND
1. That the present genere.i descriptiion and exi;ent ui iniiii usea iii ~i:o a~oro~,~n~ia;.a3
area adequately represents past and aurrent City policies regarding possible future devel-
opment oP said general area.
2. Thst no evidenae was presented at said hearing whinh would justify the City
Planning Commission recouffiending a change in the above-mentioned polioies to the Gity Gouna•!.1
3. That Exhibit No. 1 of General Plan Amendment No. 1 does no~t constitute an
aoaepteblo alternative to current polioies as illustrated an the General Plan.
NO-P, THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLUED that the City Ple,nning Commission of the City of
Anaheim doos hereby reaommend to the City Counoil of the City of Anaheim that subjeot
General Plan Amendment be disapprovel or. the besis of the aforementioned findings.
