RESOLUTION N0. 1048. SERIES 1963-64
„` A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSYON OF TI-IE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
RECOMMENDING TO TI-D:i CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAF~IM THAT
GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT NOe 6 BE DISAPPROUED

W}~IEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did adopt a General
Plan by Resolution No. 63R-869, showing the general description and extent of
`^~ land uses wittiin the City and indicating the psesent belief of the Council as
~ to possible future development and redevelopment of land within the City; and
WFiEREA$; the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did re-
ceive a verified Petition for Reclassification No. 63-64-77, which petition has
implications on policies as expressed on said General Plan; aid

WI-IEREAS, in conjunction with the notice of the hearing on said reclass-
ifi~atinr~ r24t_~n wZc ai~~ n~iynr rar~arrlir~r3 }hc ~nnc_Licratinn nf an ?mPndm?nt to
the General Plan in the general location and vicinity of subject property of said
reclassification; and
WHERE;4S, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearin~ at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim on February 3, 1964, at 2:00 o'clock P.Mo,
notice of said public hearing having been duly given as required by law and in
' accordance ~with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, to hear and consider
evidence for and against said Amendment to the General Plan and said proposed
Petit:on for Reclassification to investigate and make findings and recor.unendations
in connection therewith; and
WHEREAS, saia Commission after due inspection, investigation, and study
made hy itself and in its behalf and after due considera,.ion of all evidence and
reports offered at said hearing, DOES HEREBY FIND
1. That the present general description and extent of land uses in the
aferementioned area adequately represents past atid current City
policies regarding possible future development of said general areae
2. That no evidence was presented at said }iearing which would justify
the City Planning Commission recommending a change in the above-
mentioned policies to the City Council.
3. That Exhibit No. 1 of General Plan Amendment No. 6 does not consti-
tute an acceptable alternative to current policies as illustrated
on the General Plane
