REOOMMENDING TO THE CITY ODUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT
GENERAL_ PLAN . Al~IEt1i~NT N~ 0 8 BE DISAPPROVID. .
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did adopt a General Plan by ;
Resolution.No. 63R-869, showing the general description and extent of land uses within the
City and.indicating the.present belief of the Council as to possible future development and
redevelopmen#.of land within the.City; and i
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Maheim did receive a verified ~
Petition for Reclassif.icatiure Noo 63-64-79„ which petition has implications on policies ~
as expressed_.on said Gener.al Plan ; and ;
WHEREAS9 in conjunction with the notice of the hearing on said reclassification,
notice was given regarding the consideration of an amendment to the General Plan in the ~
general.location and vicinity of sub~ect property of said reclassification; and ,
WHERFAS~ THE CITY PLANNING O~MMISSION did hold a public hearing at the City Hall
in the City of Anaheim on March 2, 1964, at 2s00 0' clock PoMoq, notice of said public
hearing ha~ing been duly given as required by law and in accordance with the provisions
of the Maheim Municipal Code9 to hear and consider evidence for and against said
Amendment to the General Plan and said proposed Petition for Reclassif ication to investigate ~
and made findings and recommendations in connect~on therewith; and
WHEREAS9 said Commission after due inspection, investigation, and study made by ;
itself and in its behalf and after due considera•tion of all evidence and reports offered

la That the present yeneral description and extent of land uses in the
aforementioned area adequately represents past and current City policies
regarding possible future development of said general area.
2~ That no evidence was psesented at said hearing which would justify the ,
City Planning Commission r~commandina a change in the abovementioned
policies to the City Council~
3a That Exhibit No~ 1 of General Plan Amen~ment No~ 8 does not constitute
an acceptable alternative to current policies as illustrated on the
General Plan.
