Series 1963-64 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING ~MMISSION OF TH£ CITY OF ANAHE'iM RF~MMENDING Tp THE CITY ODUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THE ADOPTION OF ARFA DE1fELOPMENT PLAN N0. le WHEREAS9 the City Planning Commission did receive a verified Petition for Reclas~sification No. 63-64-81, requesting permission to utilize an existing residence for an escrow office, and WHEREAS9 the City Plann3ng Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on March 169 1964y at 2a00 0'clock P.M., notice of said public hearing having been duly given as required by law and in accordance with the provisions of the ~ Anaheim Municipal Code, Chapter 18072, to hear and consider evidence for and against said proposed reclassification and to investigate and make findings and recommendations in connection therewith; and . ~ WHEREAS, the General Plan reflects the Commission's thinking for the utilization of the frontage of Lincoln Avenue for commercial off ice use, and WHEREAS, the City Planning C~mmission did initiate a verif ied Petition for Reclassi- fication P!o. 63-6~1-96 ~roposir.s C-0, Commercial Office, Zone for subject pronerties, and WHERFAS, in conjunction with Petition for E~eclassification No. 63-64-96y an area development plan was prepared and scheduled for public hearing for subject properties, and WHFRFAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investic;ation, and study made by itself and in its behalf, and after.due consideration of all evidence ~rid reports offered at said hearing, does find and determine the following factsa la That sub3ect properties of Area Development Pla~ Nool does have access to Lincoln Avenue, a primary highway. 2. That properties east, west, and south of subject properties have been developed for commercial purposeso. 3e Tnat subiect nrnnar+;aa r,7n hP ~1P~~pioped for commercial use within the restrictions of the C-0, Commercial Officey Zone without imposing a hardship on residential propexties directly north of subject properties. NOW~ THEREPORE9 BE IT RESOLVID that .the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim does hereby adopt Area Development Plan Noo 1, and recommends to the City Council of the City of Anaheim its approval of Area Development Plan No~ 1 based on the foregoing facts.
