PC 1963-1964-1135~ `~ / ~ . ~ _ ... -~.~ ~~ t,_~ RESOLUTION NOo 1135, Series 1963-64 A RES~LUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING ~MMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM REOOMNiENDING TO THE CITY Q'iUNC2L OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT GENERAL PLAN AMENDMF~IT I30, 17 BE APPROVID WHEREAS, the City Council of tha City of :,naheim did adopt a General Plan by Resolution Noo 63R-869, showing the general description and extent of land uses within the City and ir•,dicating the present belief of +.he Council as to possible future development and redevelopment of land within the City; and WHEREAS9 the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a verified Petition for Conditional Use Permit Noo 561, which petition has implications on policies as expressed on sa3d Ueneral Plan; and WHFRFAS, in con~unction with the notice of the hearing on said Conditional Use Permit, notice was also given regarding the consideration of an amendment to the General Plan in the general location and vicinity of subject property of said Conditi~nal Use Permit; and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did holc~ a p~iblic hearing at tne City Hall in the City of Anaheim on April 13, 19649 at 2a00 o'clock PaMo, notice of said public hearing having been duly given as required by 1aw and in accordance with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, to hear and consider evidence for and against saic~ amendment to the General Plan and said proposed Petition for Conditional Use Pexmit to investigate and make findinqs and recommendations in connection therewith; and WHERFAS, said Commission after due inspection, investigation, and study made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered a~c said heari.ng, DOES HERESY FIND lo Th:c the present general description ahd extent of land uses in the aforementioned area generally bounded on the north by Crescent Avenue, on the east by Brookhurst Street, on the south by the City Limits, and on the wesi: by the golf course9 does not adequately represent past and curreqt City policies regarding possible future development of said general.area. 2. That evidence was presented at said hearing which would ~ustify the City Planning Commission recommending a change in the above mentioned policies to the Cii, Council. ; ~ '_ i 3,.
