WHEREAS, the City Planning ~ommission of the City of Anaheim did ~initiate 'a;.vl~ified .i?etition.`for ~
Reclassification on cer.tain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange;
State of California~ described as Lot 30 of Tract 403, as sl~own on a Map recorded in Book 1.6, i
page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County~ California; Excepting therefrom the
Northerly 36 feet lying within the right of way of Lincoln Avenue ~

PIHEREAS, the City Plaaning Commission did hold a public headng at the City Hsll in the City of Aneheim on
June 15~ 1964~ et 2:00 o'clock P.M. notice of seld pnblic headag havIng been duly given as required by
lew end in accordence wIth the provisiona of the Aaeheim Municipal Code, Chepter 18.72, to hear and consider evidence
for end agetnst seid ptoposed ceclassification end to invesUgate and make 8ndings and recommendationa in cronnection
therewith; and
WHEREAS, seid Commission, efter due inaUection, iavcstigation, an3 study mede by itself end in its behelf, end
efter due rnnsideretion of ali evidence and repods of~ered et said hearing, does find and determine the foliowing focta:
1. Thetthel'lanning Commission proposes•the reclassification of the above described
pxoperty from the existing R-A9 Residential Agricultural, Zone9 and proposes said property
for...r4classification .into the C-19 Neighborhood Commercial9 Zonea
2o That an.amendment to the General Plan is deemed unnecesaaryy because the size of
the parcel proposed.for reclassification would not generally affect the City's policies in
this area
3o That the.present use of sub3ect property is commercial store buildingso
4o That the existing. use was establis.hed.under Variance Noo 11830
