A RESOLUTION OF TF~ CITY PLANNING COIAdISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAI~IM
RECOMMENDING TO Tt~ CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAI~IM
T}iE AMENDMEM' TO TITLE EIGHTEBN OF T}IE ANAF~IM MUNICIPAL CODE
1 BY TI~ ADDITION OF CHAPTER 18.61, NRC~ NATURAL RESOUEiCES AND CONSERVATION Tt~RETO
Wi~REAS, the AnaAeim Municipal Code does not provide for the ex~avation of non-
fuel vineral resources except by Conditional Use Permit exclusively, and
WF~REAS, the intent of this chapter is to proroote the orderly utilization of
non-fuel mineral resources and land found to be of local and regional importance
to the conmunity because of their mineral deposit, potential recreational uses, and
lowtion in relation to urbanized areas, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Cn~:ssion did initiate and conduct public hearin~s
on May il, June 22~ July 20, and Aug~~st 3, 1964~ to hear and consider evidence for
and against said proposed amendment to Title 18, and to investigate and make find-
ings and reco~endations in connection therewith, and
WE~REAS, the City Planning Commission did adopt said amendment at the regular
meeting on June 22, 1964<
NOW, TF~REFORE, BE IT RESOLNED that the City Planning Commission does recommend
to the City Council of the City of Anaheim the adoption of the amendment of Title
Eighteen by the addition of Chapter 18.61~ Zoning Code - NRC, Natural Resources and
Consereation Zone of the Anaheim Municipal Code as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached
Aereto and referred to herein as though set forth in full<
