A RESOLUT10If OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
~ RECOMMF,NDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT
PETITION FOR RECLASSIFICATION NO. 64-65-24 BE DENIED
VYHEREAS, the City Plenning Commission oE the City of Aneheim did receive e verified Petition for Reclessifica-
tionfrom DR. JOSEPH TSEU, 3326 West Lincoln Avenue, Anaheim, California, Owner of certain
real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of Lalifornia, as
described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and referred to herein as though set forth in full
; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Comm+ssion did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Aneheim on
August 31~ 1964~ at 2:00 o'cloc ~ P.M., notice of said public hearing heving been duly given es required
by law end in accordance with the provisions of the Meheim Municipal Code, Chepter 18.72, to hear and consider evi-
dence for and against seid proposed reclassification end to investigate and make findings and recommendetions in
connection therewith: end
WHEREAS, seid Commission, efter due lnspection, investigation, and study mede by itself and in its behelf,
and efter due consideretion of ell evidence and reports offered at seid hearing, does find and determine the following
facts:
1. Thet the petitioner proposes a reclassificetion of the above described propecty from the R-A9 ReSidential
Agricultural, Zone to the R-3y Multiple Fami:y Residential, 2one to develop subject property
with a one story multiple family planned residential development with carportso
2e That the proposed reclassification is considered in conjunction with General Pian
Amendment Noo 37. '
3e That the proposed reclassification of subject property is not necessary and~or
desirable for the orderly and proper development of the communityo
4o That the proposed reclassification would be incompatible to the existing single
family residential development on the north, south, west and east of subject propertyo
5< That the size and shape of sub~ect property make it suitable and capable uf single
f.amily subdivision developmento
6e That the petitioner uoon being informed that the petition was being recommended for
denial, requested that the Commission recommend to the City Council that subject property
be reclassified into the R-1, One Family Residential, Zone.
7. That one person appeared representing 6 persons present in the Council Chamber,
two letters, and one petition signed by 34 property owners were received in opposition to
sub3ect petitione
