A RFSOLUTION OF THE CITY PLAMVING CAMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
RB(DMIMENDING TO .THE CII'Y COUNCIL aF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT
GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT PA. 37 BE DISAPPROVID
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did adopt a General Plan
by Resolution Noo 63R-869, showing the.general description and extent or iand
uses within the City and indicating the present belief of the City Council as
to possible future developmant and redevelopment of land within the City; and
WHEREAS9 the City Planning CoimniSsion of the City of Anaheim did receive
verif ied Petitionsfor Reclassification No~ 64-65-24 and Conditional Use Permit
Noo 619, which petitiors have implications on policies as expressed on said General
Plany and
WHFREAS, in conjunction with the notice of the hearing on said Relcass-
ification9 notice was alsn given regarding the consideration of an amendment to
the Gene•ral Plan in the general location a~d vicinity of subject property of said
reclassification and con8itional use permit, and
YVHIItEAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City
Hall in the City of Anaheim on August 3'_9 i9649 at 2~00 0'clock pom., notice of
said hearing having bean duly g;ven as required by law and in accordance with the
provisions.of the Anaheim.Municipal Code, to hear and consider evidence for and
agaL~st_ said fia~ar.dment tc the Genazal Plan snd said pro~+osed Pe#~tion for reclass-
ification and conditional use.permit to investigate and make findings and recommend-
ations in conaeation therew3th, and
WHERFI~S, said Coaunission after due inspection, investigation, and study made
by.itself and.in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and
reports offered at said hearing, DOES HSR~Y FINQ -
i. That the presai~i, yer,e~al description and extent of Zand
~ uses in the aforementioned area adequately represents
past and current City policies regarding possible future
development of said general srea, bounded on the west by
City..Limits, on the north by Crescent Avenue, Dale Avenue •;
on the east and a line 1300 feet south of Crescent Avenue i
on.the southo
2o That no evidence was presented at said hearing which would ~
justify the City Planning Commission recommending a change ±
in the abave-meationed policies to the City Council. ;
3e That Exhibit "A" of .Gener.al Plan Amendment Noo 37 does not
constitute an acceptable alternative to current policies
as illustrated on the General Plane
