A RESOLUTION OF THE CTTY PLANNING COb[MISSION OF THE C1TY OF ANAHEDN
RECO!lMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT
PETIT'ION FOR RECLASSIFICATION N0. 64-65-29 BE APPROVED
WHEREAS, the Citq Planning Commission oE the Citq of Aneheim did initiate a verified Petition
for Raclassification on certain real property situated in the City of AnahFim~
County of Ch~ange, State of California~ described as Lots 124 and 125 of Tract
No. 1951, as per Map thereof recorded in Book 63, pages 4 and 5 of Miscellaneous
1Naps, records of Orange County~ California~ excepting therefrom that portion
lying rithin the right of way of Ball Road and IAagnolia Avenue, as described in
deed recorded .Ianuary 21, 1963 in Book 6401, page 940 of Official Records of said
Orange County

September 14, 1964, et 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of aeld publlc 6eariag heving been duly givea es required
by law end in eccordaace with t6e provleioes of the Aneheim Municipel Code, C6apter 18.72, to heer and consider evi-

connection therewith: and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inapection, iaveatlgetioa, and study mede by itaelf aed ia ita behdf,
end aRer dae consideration of ell evidence and reports offered at seid hearing, does find end determine the following
facts:
1.17,at ffie Planning Commission proposes the reclassification of th~ above described
property from the existing C-3, Heavy Commercial, Zone limited to service statior, use
only or other commercial uses specifically stated in Reclassification No. 61-62-97 to the
C-1~ Neighborhood-Co~ercial, Zone to establish an existing.service station as a conforming use.
2. That an amendment to the.General Plan is deemed unnecessary, because the size of the
parcel proposed for reclassification would not generally affect the City's policies in this
• arsa.
;: 3. 2hat the present uae of subject property is a service station within 75 feet of a
single..family residence.
4• That the existing use was established under Reclassiffcation No. 61-62-97.
5. That Variance Nos. 1036 and 1051 be terminated.
6. That no one appeared in opposition to sub~ect petition.
