City; and 1NHERfAS9 the City Planning Ccmmission of the City of Maheim did receive verif ied e~etitior~s f.or Reclassif.ication Noe 6M65~13, and Yariance Noe 1693, which petitions have itnplicatiortis .on policies as expressad on said General Plan$ and NHEEFAS, in conjvnction with the notice of the hearing on said reclassification and va~riance, notice was also gfven regarding the consideration of an amendment to the GenPral Plan in the general location and vicinity of sub,~ect property of said reciasaification and variaac~;. aad NMEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold public hearings at the City Hall in the City of Maheim on August 3ti August 31, and September 28, 1964 at 2s00 d'clock P,Id,o notice of said..public hearings having been duly given as required by law and in acco~dance with the provisions of the Anaheim l~unicipal Cpde, to hear and consider evidence for a~d against said Amendme~t to the General Plan and said proposed Petition for Raclassificai;ion and Variance to investigate and make findinqs and recommendations in connection therewlth, and MHFREAS, said Commission after due inspection9 investigation9 and study made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and :eports offered at said hearing, ~pES HFRPgy p?ND lo That evidence was presented at said hearing which justifies the City Planning Co~mnis~ion°s recoireaending to the City Council a change in the present general descr3ption and extent of land us~s in the area bounded by a tine 200 feet west of Brookhtirst Street on ~he west, a line 650 feet south of Orange Avenue on the south9 a line 200 feet east of Brookhurat Str~ret on the east, and Orange Avenue on the northo 2e That Exhibit "'~" of Gene•ral Plan Amendment Noo 30 does constitute an acceptable alternative to current policies as illustrated on the General Plap. ~ i ~ ~ 3 l ~ . , •~ -'.3 -~~~ ; . , ~,.~ <_) NDY19 THEREl~RE.
