CITY PLANNING CDMIIISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEiId RF.~LWIENDING TO THE CITY ODUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHIIWI THAT ' GFldF~tAI.- PLAN 1WE~IDMENf 1~. 19 BE DISAPPImVID WHEtEAS, the City Council of the City of Maheim did adopt a Ge~eral Plan ~ by Resolution Noe 63R-869, Fhowing the general description and exteni of land ~ uses within the City and indicating the present belief of the Council as~to ; possible future development and redevelc~rnent of land within the City; and ~ i WHEREAS, the City Planning Cortanission of the City~ of Anaheim did receive ~ ver3fied Petitions for Reclassification No. 64-65-18, Conditional Use Permit Noa 613, and Revis3on No. 3 of Tentative Mlap of Tract No. 5611., which petitions ? a.,n iwp:1~3~:C~ .. ~ p a_: a .-._ zs ^ c2,,,,es as axpressed on said General Plan; and ~ iN1iFREAS, in conjunction with the notice of the hearing on said reclassification, ~ conditional use permit, and tentative tract, notice was also given regarding the considerat3on•of aa amendment to the General Plan in the general location and ~ vicinity of subject property of said reclassification, conditional uv,e permit ~ and tentative tract; and 1MHFREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City '• Hall in the City of Anaheim on A~~yust 17, and September 28, 196a. at 7s00 0'clock P.~le~ notice of said public hearing having been duly given as required by law and in accordance with the provisions of the M aheim ldunicipal Code, to hear anc~ t consider evidence for and against said Amendment to the General Plan and eaid i pruposed Petitions for Reclassification, Conditional Use Permit, and Temative ; Tract to investiqate and make findings and recortmendations in connection there- with; and ~ ~ MHEREAS, said.Conmiission after due inspection, investigation, and study ~ made by iteelf and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and.repcrts offered at said haaring, DOES HFA~Y.FIND ~ 4 1. That the.present general description and extent of land uses in the aforementioned area adequately represents past and ~ current City policies regarding possible future development i of said general area, bounded on the north by South Street, on the west by State Coilege Boulevard, on the south by Wagner ~ Avenue9 and on the east by the park and school district ad~a;:ent to Sunkist Street. ~ 2o That no evidence was presented at saict hearin9 which would ~ justify the City Planning Commission recommending a change ~ in the above mentioned policies to the City Council, ~ I 3. 'that Exhibit "A" of General Plan Amendment No. 19 does not ~ constitute an acceptable alternative to current policies as illustrated on the General Plan. . .
