A RESOLUTION OF THE CTfY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CI'fY OF ANAHEIM RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT PETITION FOR RECLASSIFICATION NO. 64-65-40 BE APPROVED WtiEREAS, the Ctty Pleaning Commission of the Ciry oE Meheim did initiate a verified Petition for Reclaseification on certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California~ as described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and referred to herein as though set forth in full Property ormed bys John B, Thorpe, 11721 Bluejay Lane, Garden Grove, California. Palmer Ca Sandeno, 9902 Orange Avenue, Anaheim, California. Joseph Dienstfrey, 641 South Brookhurst Street, Anaheim, California. Glenn Ao Burchett, 627 South Brookhurst Street, Anaheim, California. ; ead WfiEREAS, the City Plenaiag -Commission did hold e public headng at the City Hell in d-e City oE Aneheim on October 26~ 1964~ et 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public heeriag heviug been duly given as required by lew end in eccordence with the proviaions of the Meheim Municipel Code, Chapter 18.72, to hear aad conetder evi- deace for end egeinat seid proposed redesaification end to investigete end make findings ead recommeadatioas in conaeMioa thereaith: end WHEREAS, aeid Commission, eRer due iaepection, iaveatigeUoa, and study made by itself end in ita behalf, snd afta due consideraHon of all evidence and reports offered at seid hearing, does fiad and detecmine the followiag Eects: 1.Thetthe Planning Commission proposes the reciassification of the above described pr~perty from the existing R-A, Agricuituraly Zone to establish an existing restaurant on Parcel Noa ly a real estate office and landscaping contractor's storage area on Parcel No.3, and a walk~up restaurant and motel on Parcel No. 4 as conforming uses and to establish zoning on Parcel Noo 2 in the C-19 Neighborhood Commercial, Zonee 2e That an amendment to the General P'lan is deemed unnecessary, because the size of the parcel proposed for reclasa.ification wo~ld not generally affect the City's policies in this areao 3. That the present use of subject property is a restaurant, real estate office, land- scaping contractor`s siorage area, walk-up restaurant and motel on Parcel Nos. 1, 3, and 4. 4a 7he real estate office and contractor's storage area, were established while said property was under the jurisdiction of the county> The restaurant was established under Conditional Use Permit Noo 109j and the motel was established under Varianca No. 852. 5o That subject property does not have conorete sidewalks or driveway approaches at this tima. These items should be constructed at such time as the existing facilities are remodeled or when the property is rederreloped. 6.. The existing dedication for Brookhurst Street is not to ultimate width and no additional dedication is recommended, the additional dedication should be obtained at such time as the present nse of tha property is changed. 7. That no one appeared in opposition to subject petition.
