CITY OF ANAHEIM ?HAT GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT t~Aa 48 BE DISAPPROVED
Y(NEREAS9 the City Council of the Clty of M aheim did adopt a Generai
Plan by Resolution Noe 63R~-A69, showing the general description and extent
of land uses within the City and indicating the present beiief of the City
Council as to po~sib:e future development and redevelopment of land within
the City~ and
WFiEREAS, the City Planning Commiss?cn of the Citv of M aheim did receive
verified Petitiorsfor Reciassification Noa 64-65•ti6 and Cur,ditional Use
Permit Noa 6599 Hhii:h petitions nave implicat~ons on policies es expressed
on said General Plant and
1NHEREAS, in canjun;,•tion with the notice of the hearing on said Reclassi-
fication and Condition~i Use Permit9 noti~e was also given regarding the con-
sideiation of an amendment to the General Pian 3n the generai location and
vicinity of sub~ect property of said reclassification and Conditiona'1 Use
Permit; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hoid a public hearing at the
City Haii in the City of Anaheim on Decembez• 7., 1964y at 7~00 0'clo~k PoM,,
notice of said public hearing having been duly given as required by law and
in accordance with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Cdoe9 to hear
and consider evidence for ~nd against said Amendment to the General Plan
and said propooed PrLii.ion for Reciassiricatlon and Conditional Use Permit
to investigate and make findings and recommendations in connection there-
withs and
WHEREAS, said Commission after due inspection, investigation and
st~dy made by itself and in its behalf and af'ter due cansideration of all
evidence and reports offered at said hearing, DOES HFREBY FIND
1. That the present qeneral description and extent of
land uses in ~he a.forementioned area adequately
represent~ past and current City Policies regarding
p~ssible future developmen+. of said generai area,
Gou;ided by a'line 5G0 i eet west of Date Stree± '~yA~+
on the west, Bs•oadway on the south9 a line 150 feet west
of Date Street WeSt on the east9 and a line 200 feet
~ south of Lincoln Avenue on the northo
2o That no ovidence was presented at said hearing which
wouid jvstify the City Pianning Commission recommend-
ing a change in the above-mentioned policies to the
City Councila
3o That Exhibit "A" of Generai Plan Amendment No. 48 does
not constitute an acceptable alternative to current
poiicies as illustrated on the General Plane

NOW, T}~REFORE9 BE II' RESOLVED that the City Planning Commission of the City
of Anaheim does hereby recommend to the City Council of he City of Anaheim that
subject General Plan Amendment be disapproved on the basis of the aforementioned
findings.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signe d and approved by me this i7th day of
