'. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did adopt a General Plan by Resolution No. 63R-A69, showing the general description and extent of land uses within tfiQ City and.the Circulation Element of Streets and Highways in the City of M aheim; and WHEREAS, notice was given regarding the consideration of an amendment to the General Plan to designate Cerritos Avenue and Douglas Road as secondary highways between i Sur~kist Street and the Santa Ana River, and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the Ci.ty of Anaheim on Uecember 21, 1964, at 2~00 0'clock P,!;a, notice of said public hearing having been duly given as requ:red by law and in accordance with the provisions of the Maheim Municipal Codey to hear and consider evidence for and ageinst said Amend- ment to the General Plan, and to investigate and make findings and recommendations in connection tlierewithf and WHEREAS, said Commission after due inspection, investigation and study made by itself and in its behalf anc after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing., CDES HFRIDY FINDs . 1. 7hat the preliminary estimates by the Traffic Engineer indicate daily traffic volumes on these streets will reach approximately 11,000 to 1?-000 vehicles at ultimate developmento The County standards foi a secondary highway is 10,00G vehiclese Therefore9 a secondary highway designation is deemed neces:acy. 2. That although said streets are outside the City limits of the City of Ana}~eim L};ay are re~sesented as ~art of the High~rray rights-ef-way of the Circulation Element of the General Plan. I~W, THEREFORE,BE IT RE90LVED that the City Planning Commission of the City of M aheim does hereby recommend to the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the Circulation Element Highway rights-of-way of the General Plan be amended by the approval of General Plan Amendment No. 47 establishing Cerritos Avenue and Douglas Road as secondazy highways between Suakist Street aqc~ the Santa Ana River. BE IT FURTHER RE90LVED that the City Council recommend to the Orange County Planning Commission that Cerritos Avenue and Douglas Road be designated as secondary highways between Sunkist Street and Santa Ana River an the County Circulation Element of the ~eneral Plan.
