PC 1964-1965-1555- \ ,~ ~_~ RESOLlITION N0. 1555a Series 1964-65 A RE50LLTION OF THE CITY PLANNING ODMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM REQ~NA7ENGING TO THE `:ITY ODUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHQM THAT GENFAAL PLAN AMENDMENT N0. 52 BE DISAPPROVID ` 1~fHERFAS, trP City Council of the City ~f Anaheim did adont a General Plan by Resolution No. 63R-869, showi~g the generai description and extent of Iand uses~ within the Cit.y and indicating the present belief of the City Council as to possible future development and redevelapment of land within the City; and WHERFAS, the City Planninc Commission of the City of M aheim did receive a verified petition ior Reclass=f;scation No. 64-65-97, which pe±ition has implicat- ions on poiicies as er.p~es5e~' ~~m said General Plang and WHEREAS., in conjLnction wi~ih the notice of the hearing on said reclassification, nutice was a;so given regardin~ the considexation of an a~,:endment to the General Plan in the generai iocation aid vicinity of subject property of said reclassification; and WHEREAS, the Citiy P?anninc Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall :n the City of Anaheim on March 19 1965~ at 2s00 0'clock P.Mo9 notice of said public hearing.}~aving been d~iy given as required by law and in accordance with the provisions of the Anahe.im Municipai Code, to hear and cansider evidence for and against said Amendment to the Gene= aI Plan and said proposed Petition for Reclassification and ±o investigate and make findings and recommendations in connection therewith~ and WHEREAS, said Commi^sion after due inspection, investigation and study made ioy itsel= and in its bei~~iE and aFter due conside•ration of all evidence and reposts offered at said hearing, DOES HEREBY FIND le That the present general description and extent of land u~es in the aforementioned area adequately represents past and current City Po;icies reqarding possible future development of said general area desc_ibed asa a ciscle at the soutn- we~t corner of Sycamore an~j East Streets, with a radius of approximately 300 feet. 2o That no evidence wss preseni;ed at sa}d hearing which would justify the Cii:y Planning Commission recommending a cfiange in the above-mentior,ed policies to the City Council. 3. That Exhbiit "A" of General Plan Amendment No. 52 does not constitute an acceptable alternative to current policies as illustrated on the General Plan. ~ `} t ?
