AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
THE ZONING MAP REFERRED TO IN TITLE 18 OF THE
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING
(RECLASSIFICATION NO. 98-99-03).
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission held a duly noticed
public hearing and, as a result thereof, did adopt its Resolution
No. PC98-153 determining that a change or changes in the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described should be made,
unconditionally.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That the Zoning Map referred to in Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, amended by
rezoning and reclassifying that certain property situated in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described
as follows, to wit:
THAT PORTION OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF THE SOUTHEAST
QUARTER OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 17, TOWNSHIP
4 SOUTH, RANGE 10 WEST, SAN BERNARDINO BASE AND MERIDIAN
IN THE RANCHO LOS COYOTES, IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM, COUNTY
OF ORANGE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AS SHOWN ON A MAP
RECORDED IN BOOK 51, PAGE 10 OF MISCELLANEOUS MAPS,
RECORDS OF ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, DESCRIBED AS
FOLLOWS:
BEGINNING AT A POINT IN THE SOUTH LINE OF SAID SOUTHWEST
QUARTER DISTANT THEREON SOUTH 890 42' 15" WEST 310.00
FEET FROM THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF SAID SOUTHWEST QUARTER,
SAID POINT ALSO BEING THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF "NOT A PART
OF THIS SUBDIVISION' AS SHOWN ON THE MAP OF TRACT NO.
2426, FILED IN BOOK 72, PAGES 30 AND 31 OF MISCELLANEOUS
MAPS, RECORDS OF ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, THENCE ALONG
THE BOUNDARIES OF SAID "NOT A PART" THE FOLLOWING CURSES:
NORTH 00 17' 45" WEST 164.64 FEET TO A POINT ON A CURVE
CONCAVE NORTHWESTERLY HAVING A RADIUS OF 145.00 FEET, A
RADIAL LINE THROUGH SAID POINT BEARS SOUTH 260 15' 59"
EAST; THENCE NORTHEASTERLY ALONG SAID CURVE THROUGH A
CENTRAL ANGLE OF 380 57' 57" AN ARC DISTANCE OF 98.61
FEET; THENCE NORTH 890 59' 55" EAST 113.35 FEET TO A
POINT IN A LINE PARALLEL WITH THE EAST LINE OF SAID
SOUTHWEST QUARTER AND DISTANT WESTERLY THEREFROM,
MEASURED AT RIGHT ANGLES, 130.00 FEET; THENCE SOUTH 0° 0"
05" EAST ALONG SAID PARALLEL LINE 233.00 FEET TO THE
SOUTH LINE OF SAID SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SAID SECTION;
THENCE SOUTH 890 42' IS" WEST ALONG SAID SOUTH LINE
180.00 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.
into the "RS -7200" (RESIDENTIAL, SINGLE-FAMILY ZONE) of the City
of Anaheim, unconditionally.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended and the property above-described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated and incorporated in and made
a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said City
Zoning Map, as amended, is hereby adopted and the Planning
Department is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map
to be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby
approved and adopted.
SECTION 3. CERTIFICATION
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption in the Anaheim Bulletin, a
newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in
said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final passage,
it shall take effect and be in full force.
