RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL UF 64E~C5ITi ~UF ANAHF.IbI THAT
PETITION FOR RECLASSIFICATION N0. BE APPRUVED
WHEREAS, the Ctry Planning Commiasion of the City of Maheim did initiate o verified Fetition for
Reclassification on certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, as described fn Exhibit "A" attached hereto and referred to herein as
though set forth in full

WHEREAS, the City Planning Commisston did hold e puSlic headng at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on
May 10~ 1965~ at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of seid pv~bllc headng having becn duly given aa requittd
by lew end in eccordance with the provisiona of the Maheim Municipal Code, Chapter 18.72,to hear end conaider evi-
dence for end egainst seid proposed reclassiEfcetion and to investigate and meke findings and tecommendations in
connection therewith: end
WHEREAS, said Commiseion, eRet due inapection, investigation, end study mede by itself and ia ita behalf,

1.Thatthe Flanning Cortunission prcposes the reclassificacicr of the above deecribed
property from the exiscing C-3y Zene deed rest:icted to a service station or any C-1, General
Conrnercial usF to establish an existing service station as a conforming use in the C-1,
General Commc._.~ial, Zone within 75 feet of an R-A residence.
2o That an amendment to the General Plan is deemed unnecessary, tecause the size of the
parcel proposed for reclassification would not generally affect the City's policies in this
area. ;:
3. That the present use of subject property is a service station within 75 feet of an ,:
R-A, residence. `'
4. That the existing use was established under Reclassification No. 63-64-7.
5e That no one appeared in opposition to subject petition.

to the City Council of the Clty of Maheim th~t subJect Petltioa for Recl~ssiHc~tion be ~pproved and, by so doing,
thaR Title 18-ZoniaQ of the Maheim Municipal Code be ~mended to e:clude the ~bove described propaty from the
C-3, Heavy Commercial, Zone, and to incorporate said described property into the C-1,
General Commercial, Zone, unconditionally.
