WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commisslon did hold e public hearing et the City Hall in the City o[ Anaheim
on August 30, 1965, at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice oE said public hearing having been duly given as required
by lew nnd in eccordance with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, Chapter 18,6ts, to hear and consider
evidence for And Hgainst seid proposed variance and to investigete and meke findings end ~ecommendations in connec-
tion therewith; and
WHEREAS, seid Commissinn, aEter due inapection, investigation, end study made by itself and in its behalf,
and after due consideration of all evidence and reports ofEered as seid hearing, does find and determine the following
fects:
1. That the petitioner requests a variance from the Aneheim M~.nicipel Code; 5ection 1i3~6~ .090(b-1 ) which
permits only one free-standiny sign on subject property; and Section 18:62•~090(q-1) which
requires tha+ the minimum dist~nce between free-standii;q signs shzll be 300 feet to permik
development of subject, pc•ope~ty witt~ two free-stanciing signs within 57 feet of eact~ other~
2. That there are exceptionel or extraordinary circumstances or conditions epp'icable to the ~roperty involved
or to the intended use of the property thet do not epply generelly to the property or c1ASS of use in the seme vicinity
and zone.
3, That the requested veriance is necessnry for the presPrvation and enjoyment of a substontial property right
possessed by other property in the snme vicinity and zone, end denied to the property in question.
4. That the requested veriance will not be materially detrimentel to the public welfete or injuriou~ to the prop-
erty or improvements in such vicinity and zone in which tiie property is located.
