it.:.alr anci In its behalf, and after due consideratlon of all evidence and reports oftereci
at. saicJ hear:ng, does find and deterrnine t}~e follawi;~g faGts:
1. That stub street located between Haster Street - beginniny at the westerly
end of tne overpass of the Sani:a Ana Freeway - to Manchester Avenue on the
w~est side of the Freeway and another stub street between Anahei~r~ Boulevard
to the easterly beginning of the Kate:la Avenue overpass of the Santa Ana
Freeway are not now designated as a specific street on the highway rights-
of••way ~~ap of the City of Anahei~.
2. That upon the completior~ of the Katella Avenue overpass of the Santa Ana
Fxeeway the State Divisior, of Nighways has attached the na~e of Katella Way
to these two stub streets.
3~ That in order to elirninate passible conrusion in this specific area it will
be necessary to assign a specific street naR:e to these two stub streets.
4. That the Interdepartmental ~ommittee for Public Safei.y and General Welfare
and Post OCf'ire department has indicated that. no c:onflict ~~rrouid result if'
the s~ub streets in question were c~fficially na~~,ed Katella Way.
5. That no one appeared in opposition to subject pe±ition.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Anahei~r; C:1ty Planr;inc~ Co~n~riss;~n does
hereby recommend t.o the City Counci] oti the City of P,naheim the designatior~ • the
two stub streets locat.ed between Haster Street at ±he beginning of tt~e westerly end
of the Katella Avenue overpass of t:he Santa Ana Freeway Lo Nanchester Avenue. and
between Anahe.im Boulevaz•d nnd the easterly beginning of t.he KatE~lla A~~enue ~?•,~~~ ~~ iss
of the Santa Ana Freeway as Katel?a Way, on the basis of the foi•eqoing findinns.
