EXCEPTING thereFrom any portion thereof lying within Lemon Street on the west and Orangethorpe Avenue on the north ; and WHEREAS, the City Plenning Ccmmission did hold a public hearing at the City Ha11 in the City of pnaheim on ~ctober 24~ 1966~ at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public hearing having been duly given as required by law end in eccordance with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, Chapter 18.72,to hear and consider evi•• dence for and egainst said proposed reclassification and to investigete and make findings and recommendations in connection therewith: snd WHEREAS, said Commission, efter due inspection, investigation, and study made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, does find and determine the following facts: 1. Thatthe Planning Commission proposes a reclassificatior. of the above described property from the existing M-1, Light Industrial, and P-L, Parking Landscaping, Zones to establish an existing service station in a more arpropriate classification in the C-1, General Commercial, Zon e. 2~ That an amendment to the General Plan is deemed unnecessary, because the size oi ~ the parcel proposed for reclassification would not generally affect the City's policies in - this area. 3. That the oresent use of subject property is a service station~ ~.
