A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF I'HE CITY OF AIdAHEIM RECOMMENDING
TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ." `!AHEI!! A STREET AIAME CHANGE FOR
PAULINA STREET BETWEEN ADELE ANU SYCAMORE STREETS, AND
NORTH STREET AND LA PALMA AVENUE TO
PAULINE STREET THERETO.
WHEREAS, a recent investigation by the Engineering Department of tract maps indicated
that "Paulina Street" was designated for two sections of the street between Adele and
Sycamore Street~. a,d Nnrth Street and La Palma Avenue, while "Pauline Street" u~as its
designation for the balance of the Street located between Cypress Street on the south and
~ La Paima Avenue on the north; and
WHEREAS, in order to provide fo: consistency in the streat name for Pauline Street within
the city limits of the City of Anaheim it was fc?i.~!;d nec•~ssary to amend the street name for
Paulina Street to Pauline Street; and
WHEREAS, the City Plann~r.., Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the
City of Anaheim on July 18, 1966 at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public hearing having
been duly given as required by law and in accordance with the provisions of the Anaheim
Municipal Code, to hear and consider evi.dence for and against said proposed street name
change, and to investigate and make findir.gs and recommendations in connection therewith;
and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due i~spection, investigation, and study made by itself
and in its behalf, and after due consideration of a11 evidence and reports offered at said
hearing, does find and determine the following:
1, That the City has signed the entire street for a number of years as Pauline Street.
2~ That all residents on the street have used "Pauline Street" as the street designation.
3. That no one appeared iri opposition to subject petition.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Plannino Commission of the City of Anaheim
does hereby recommend to the City Council of the City of Anaheim tt,at a street name change
be made re-designating "Paulina Street" between Adele Street and Sycamore Street and be-
tween North Street and La Palma Avenue as "Pauline Street."
