RESOLUTION NO. 7lR- 36
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AND FIXING A DATE FOR
HEARING THEREOI'l.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
elected to proceed under the provisions of the Public Service
Easement Vacation Law, Title 5, Division 1, Article 5 of the
Government Code, in connection with a request for vacation and
abandonment of certain real property hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it hereby declares its intention to
vacate, abandon and close to public use that portion of an
existing 7-foot public utility easement consisting of a 3-foot
ground area and 2-foot overhang easement on each side of the
3-foot ground easement, located in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, all of which lie within the
following described parcel of land, to wit:
The easterly 7 feet of the westerly 20 feet of the
southerly 222.00 feet of Lot 16 in Tract No. 4703,
as shown on a map recorded in Book 169, pages 25
and 26, Miscellaneous Maps, Official Records of
Orange County, California.
Excepting therefrom the southerly 27 feet of said
Lot: 16.
and it elects to proceed under the provisions of the Public
Service Easement Vacation Law, Title 5, Division 1, Article 5
of the Government Code.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a time and place for hear-
ing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed
vacation and abandonment has been fixed on the 16th day of
February , 1971, at 1:30 o'clock P.M. in the Council Chamber
in the City Hall in the City of Anaheim.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall
certify to the passage of this resolution and shall cause the
same to be published in a manner prescribed by law in the
Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed,
published and circulated in said City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 26th day of January, 1971.
