A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING O~MMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM RECOMME~~ING
TO THE CITY OOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AIJAHEIM AN AMENDMENT TO RESOLUTION OF
INTEPTI' NO„ 62R-335 ESTABLISHING CERTAIN REQUIREMEtJTS FOR THE

WHEREAS9 the City Council on April 10~ 196?_, established P-L, Parking Landscaping
and M-1, Light Industrial, Zones in Resolution of Intent No, o?R-335 for properti.es
included within the area known as the Northeast Industrial Area; ard
WHEREASy the City Planninq Commission on August 15, 1966 recommended deletion of
any reference to the P-L, Parking Landscaping, Zone within the industrial areas of
the City; a~d
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall
in the Cit}• of Anaheim on August ]5, 1966, at ?_a00 0'clock P,M., notice of said public
hearing have beer. aiven as required by law and in accordance with the provisions of
the Anaheim Municipal Code, to hear and consider evidence for and against the proposed
amendment to Resolution of Intent 62R-335, and to investiqate and make findings and
recommendations in connection therewith; and
WHEREAS9 said Commi:;sion9 after due inspec+.ion, investiga;;ion, and study ~nade
by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of ali evidence and reports
offered at said hearing, does find and Jetermine the following facts:
1~ That deletion of all references to the P-L Zone is deemed necessary due
to the fact that the M-1 Zone site development standards adequately
provide for setbacks and landscapinq adjacent to arterial streets and
highways within the industrial areas in the City~
2~ That a number of street names contained within said resolution have been
changed and tnis should be reflected in the proposed amendment„
3~ That ior clarifi.cation purposes, further precise boundary references
should be made witiiin t}ie "findings of fact" oF said Resolution No.
62R-335 where present descriptions are too general (i.e., Findino
Nos. 1, 2, and 3.)

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim does hereby recemmend to the City Council amendments to Resolution of Intent
Noo 62R•-335 deleting the P-L, Parkina and Landscaping, Zone frcro said resolution
and updating the street names within said resolution for the fol.lowing streetss
Anat~eim Road ±o Miraloma Avenue
Placentia-Yorba Bivd to Crowther Avenue
Los Angeles Street to Anaheim Boulevard
and the amendment to ihe legal description with reference to Findinc~ f~os. 1, 2, and
3 that refer to the qeneral boundaries of the industrial areas. ~~s follo:vs:

io That the City should establish the easterly Right of way line of Route
19, ~he Orange Freeway Right of way, as the v~esterly boundary and the
northerly R~ght of way line of the Riverside Freeway as the southerly
boundary of the Northeast Industrial Area.
2. That the entire area delimited by the southerly Right of way line of
Orangethorpe Avenue a~d Crowther Avenue (formerly Placentia Yorba Blvdo?
on the north, the northerly Right of way line of the Riverside Freeway
and the northerly boundary cf the Santa Ana River on the south, the
easterly Right of way line of the Orange Freeway Right of way on the
west, and the westerly Right of way line of the Imperial Freeway Right
of ~~ay on the east should be designated for industrial use on the
Anaheim General Plan~
3~ That the er.tire area delimited by the southerly Right of ~,vay line of
Ball Road on the north, the easterly and northeasterly Right of way
lines of Anaheim Boulevard (formerly Los Angeles Street) and the Santa
Ana Freeway on the west, and the southwest, and the westerly boundary
line of the Santa Ana River on the east should be designated for in-
dustriai use on the Anaheim General P1ano
