A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY O~' ANAHEIM
THAT PETITION FOR VARIANCE NO. 1R00 BE DENIED
WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive e verlfied Petition for Variance from
COALSON C, h10RRIS~ 70R Nortn West Street, Anaheim, California, Owner; ROBERT E. VAN, 515 Priscilla
Way, Anaheim, California, Agent of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, Sta~e of California, described as the Southerly 125.00 feet of the Easterly 112.39
feet of that portion of Vineyard Lot B-1 of the Original Anaheim, in the City of Anaheim, as per
map thereof recorded in Book 4, pages 629 and 630, Deeds of Los Angeles County, California, lying
1 Northerly of the Northerly line of Tract No. 724, as p2r map recorded in Book 21, page 23,
+Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County

WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commission did hold a public hearing et the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on
July 1R~ 1966 et 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public hearing having been duly given es required by
law and in eccordence with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipel Code, Chapter 18.68, to hear end consider evidence for
and against seid proposed variance and to investigete end make findings end recommendetions in connection therewith;
and
WHEREAS, said Commissian, after due inspection, investigation, end study made by itself end in its behalf,
end efter due consideration of all evidence and reports offered es seid hearing, does find and determine the following
fects:
1. That the petitioner requests e vsriance from the Anahelm Municipal Code.to permit construction of a
professional office building:
SECTION 18.38.050~1-a) - Which requires a 20,000 square foot site area -
12,500 square foot site area proposed.
SECTION 18.38.050~3) - Which limits the height of a structure by requiring
a setback from a residential zone of twice the
height of the structure - a 10-foot
setback proposed, however, no structural hei9ht
indicated.
2. That there are no exceptional or extraordinary circumstances or conditions applicable
to the property involved or to the intended use of the proper*y that do not apply 9ener~lly
to the property or cl~ss of use in the same vicinity ar,d zone.
3. That the requested variance is not necessary for thie Freservation and enjoyment of a
substantial property right possessed by other property in the same vicinity and zone,ancl denied
to the property in questiona
4. That the size of the parcel is inadequate ta develop it for the proposed use.
5. That a petition signed by 17 property owners was rec?ived approving, and no one
appeared in opposition to subject petition.

~;~ NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED thet the Anaheim City Plonning Commission does hereby deny subject
Petition for Variance on tha basis of the aforementioned findings.
