Thet the petitioner proposes a reclessification of the above described property from the R-A, Ag-icultural, Zone ±o tne C-1, Genera; Commercial, Zone *_o establish a market and department store on sub`ect property~ 2~ That tne proposed use is oE a nature similar to established uses near the sa~ne inter- section~ liov~ever, the retail commercial uses established in the area do not con,'orm to the intent of the General Plan desiynation, ie~ Commercial Recreation~ Consequently, a change in ~eneral P!an symbolooy shauld be explored at annuai review to reflect the retail commercial nature of' the uses developing in the ~:icinity of Beach Boulevard a~d Lincolro 3.
