A RESOLUTION nF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
THAT PETTTION FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. ~1BE DENIED
WHEREAS, th= t:ity Plenning Commission of the City of Aneheim did receive a verified Petition for Conditional
Use Permit from KF.NiJETH W. AND HELEN L. HOLT, 1557 West Mable Street, An~ :eim, California 92802
Owners of certaan real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and referred to herein as though set
forth in full

'~ WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing ai the City Hell in the City of Anaheim on
June 19, 196 i, at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of seid publ~c he•ring heving been duly given as required by
I law end in eccotdence with the pravisions of the Maheim Municipal Code, Chapter 18.64, to hear end consider evidence
for and against said praposed conditiaaal use and to investigate and meke findings and recommendations in connection
therewith; and
` i WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investigstion, end study mede by itself and in its behalf,
and after due consideretion of all evidence and reports offered et said hearing, does find end determine the following feds:
1. That the proposed use is properly one for which e Conditional Use Permit is authorized by this Code, to wit:
5ection 18.54.020(1-`), to oermit the expansion of a private educational facility ~vith
waiver of:
SECTION 18.52.Oo0(2-f) - Yards and setbacks. (No fences permitted in the required
setback area; a 6-foot fence in the front setback oroeo=_ed)
2. That the size of the site proposed for the use is inadequate to allow ,`or proper
' develooment of the propo=_ed expansion, since only approximately 200 square feet per child
,~ ~.vo~ld be provided for both play and school area based on an enrollment of 100 students.
j - 3. That the prooosed expansion will create traf`ic congestion in the area, since no
- droooff area is provided on the site.
, 4. That the proposed redwood fence to separate the olav area :rom the streat will
, create "blind spots" for vehicular and peoestrian troffic, as well as create a hazard for
automobiles backing out of the residences to the south.
5. That three oerson= appearEd, one of whom oresented a petition sioned by 15 persons
