A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMIgSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
THAT PETITION FOR VARIANCE NO. 1F~93 gE GRANTED
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive e verified Petition for Vedence
from MAX Pr20VISOR, 959 South Knott Avenue Anaheim, Californiz 92d04 Owner of certain real
property situated in the CitY of Anaheim ~ounty of Orange, State of ~alifornia, described as All
that certair, real nroperty situated in t~ie Rancho Los Coyotes, beginning at ±he Southeast corner
of S ection 15 oownship 4 South, Range 11 West, San Bernardino Base and N~eridian, and running

WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commission did hold a public hearing ot the ;;ity Hell in the City of Aneheim
on July 6, 1967, at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public hearing having been duly given as reQuirad
by law and in accordence with the provisions of the Aneheim Municipel Code, Chapter 18.68,to hear and consider
evidence for end egainst seid proposed variance end to investigate end make findings and recommendetions ir. connec-
tion therewith; and
WHEREAS, seid Commissi~n, after due inspection, investigetion, and study mede by itself end in its behelf,
and after due consideration of ell evidence and reports offered at seid hearing, does find and detem~ine the following
facts;
1. That the petitioner requests a veriance from the Anaheim Municipal Code: to permit the construction of
a brake shop, and trailer and van rental, and outdoor storaae facility on subject property as
follows:
S~CTION 18e40~020 - Permitted G 1 uses (proposed use is not permitted in
the C-•1 Zone).
SECTION 18~40.020 •- Code orohibits outdoor uses in the C•-1 Zone (oetitioner
proooses outdoor storage of rental trailers and vansl.
2. That there are exceptional or extteordinery circumstences or conditions appliceble to the property involved
or to the intended use of the property that do not epply generelly to the property or class of use in the same vicinity
and zone.
3. That the requested veriance is necessery for the preservation end enjoyment of e substantiel property right
possessed by other property in the same vicinity end zone, end denied to the property in question.
4. That the requested variance wiSl not be materielly detrimental to the public welEere or injurious to the pcop-
erty or improvements in such vicinity and zone in which the property is located.
=. That the oetiiioners stioulated that the stored vans and trucks shall not exceed

Petition for Vsrlance, upon the followlnQ coaditlone whlch rre hereby found to be e necessary prerequlalte to t'he pro-
posed use o( the eubjecl property in order to presarve the srfety end generel waltere ofthe Citizens o(the City of
Aneheim:
1, That a Parcel Map to record the approved division oP subject property be submitted to
tiie City of Anaheiir~ for approval and then be recorded i.n the offirE of the Orange County
Recorder.
2. That the side:walks shal] be repaired along Dal] Road, as reyuired L-y the City &ngineer
~ and ir. accor~lanr,e witt, standard plans and specifications on file in tha office of the City
Enyineer.
3~ That the proposed outdoor stcraga area shall ne ~~rEtnEd along the northerly property
lina with a o-foot chain link fence ].ouverad in a similar manner as Eences alony the freeways,
~ toqether with landscaped sr_reening to shield the light r,ommercial uses established from the
storaga facilities.
, 4. That Condition Plo. 1, above mentionad, shall be complied with prior to the t~me that
the 6uilding Permit is issued or within a period of 1~0 days from date hereof, whirhever occurs
first, or such further time as the Commiesion or•Ci.ty Counr,~l nay grant.
5. That Condition Ilos. % and 3, above mentioned, shall be complied with prior to fina]
bui.lding and zoning irspections.
