A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PIp,NNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DISAPPROVAL
OF THE REQUEST FOR THE EXECUTION OF A WRITTEN CONSENT TO REMOVAL OF
, DEED RESTRICTIONS HERETOBcFORE IMPOSED ON THE FOLLOWING
DESCRIBED PROPERTY AT THE REQUEST OF THE CIIY OF kNAHEIM
W1-IEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a request
for the deletion of deed restrictions imposed in the approval of Reclassification No.
61-62-44, as described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and referred to herein as though
set forth in full; and

WI-IEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall
in the City of Anaheim on ths 6th day of July, 1967, at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of
said public hearing having been duly given as required by law and in accordance with
provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, to hear and consider evidence for and against
said proposed amendment of deed restrictions, and to investigate and make findings a;~d
recommendations in connection therewith; and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investigation, and study made by
itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered
at said hearing, does find and determine the followi.ng facts:
1. That deed restrictions imposed permitted a wide range of commercial uses and
were for the protection of the single-family residences abutting subject
property to the west and frontinq on the north side of Sar.ta Ana Street.
2. That the use proposed is the type of automotive oriented facility which could
be undesirable and detrimer,tal to the residential integrity of the area because
of its inherent noise, light, hours of operation, and traffic.
3. That the oroposed use, because of its inherent characteristics, should be
confined to a more intense commercial use area, or in an industrial area
rather than adjacent to a residential area.
4• That no one appeared in opposition to subject petition.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Planning Commission does hereby
recommend to the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the request to execute a
written consent by the Mayor of the City of Anaheim for the removal of deed restrictions
heretobefore imposed on the aforeme:._ioned property be disapproved.
