PC 67-155RESOLliTION NO PC67-155 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT PETITION FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT N0. 953 gE DENIED WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive e vecified Petition for Conditional Use Permit from HENRY SIEIi1BRIPJK, 506 South Revere Street, AnaYleirr., California 92805, O;nmer; WALTER STEIIJBRINK, 516 South Revere Street, Anaheim, California 926J5, Agent of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and referred to herein as though set forth in full s ~- ~~ :~ 4 , ~~7 ~i ~ i e ~ ; end NHEF.EAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Aneheim on July 6, 1967, et 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public heering having been duly given as required by law and in accordance with the provisions of the Aneheim Municipal Code, Chapter 18.64, to hear and consider evidence for and against said proposed conditional use and to investigete and make findings and recomm endations in connection therewith; and ' WNEREAS, said Commission, after dee inspection, investigation, and study made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, does :ind and determine the following facts: 1. That the proposed use is properly one for which a Conditior.al Use Permit is authorized by this Code, to wit: Section 18~64.02G(3-g), establish a carwash, with waivers o:: SECTION 18.40.070(2-a-3) -Reauired front landscaoina. SEC'IION 18.40.070(2-a-6) -Reauired interior landscaoinq. (2% required; none provideo). SECTION 18~40.070(2-a-5-a) -Raauzred screen ?andscaoinq (along the west orooerty line). 2. That the proposed use wi11 ad~•ersely affect the adjoining residential land uses to tne nor+h and west, which are residential in character. 3. That deed restrictions permit the utilization of subject property :or 2? commercial uses on1y, however, these uses are quite compreh~nsive, but do not include a carwash. 4. That thP use prooosed is a type of automotive oriented facility, which vaould be undesirable and detrirt~ental to the re~idential integrity of the area, because of its inherent roise, lighting, hours of oparation, and traffic. 5. That the waiver r~quested from the C-1, General Commercial, Zone site develooment standards indicate that the location and orientation o.` the proposed carwash on subject property would not be in the best interests of the residents livino in thi=_ area. 6. That the proposed use~faill be detrimental t~ the oeace, health, safety, and aeneral welfare o:` tne ~itizens o` the City o: Anaheim. 7.
