WH~REAS, the City Planning Commission in recognition of the ststed desire of the
rzsidents of the area known as the Peralta Hi11sy recently annexed into the City of Ananeim,
to mainiein the area as ~uestrian-oriented, deletion of reference to tne R-E, Residentia]
Estates, Zone from the gene:al animal control section should be made; and
WHEREASy the City Planning Commission did hold a pubiic hearing at the City Ha11 ir.
the City o: Anoheim on July 31, 190?, at 2:00 0'clock P.M., notice of s~id public hearina
hzving been duly given as required by law and in accordance with the provi=_ions of the
Anaheim Municipal Code, to hear and consider evidence for and against said proposed amend
ment and to investigate and make findings and recommendations in c~nneetion there,vith; znr.
VJHEREAS, said Commzssion, after due insoection9 investioation, and study mzde ~y
iiself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of a:l evidence and reports or;ered
at said hearing, does find and determine the following iacts:
1. That all rererence to the R-E Zone within Section 18_Oc,p?p(~) shou!d be
dcl~t~d and ir.coroorated into the R-E9 Residential Estates, Zone.
2. That Section 18.04.G20(o-c)shou;d be arnended to pern;it cattle, sheeo and
goats on parcels of land one acre in area or more, rather than the previo~,:s ~i;e
acres.
3. That no one apoeared in op~osition.
