A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING ~NPv1ISSI0N DF TH~ CITY OF ANAHEIN RECONPAENDING
TO THE CITY CODUCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THE ADOPTION OF A REVISION TO THE
"MINIMUM DIMENSIONS FOR DESIGNING OFF-STRE~I' PARKING LAYOUTS" THFRETO
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission and City Council in 1962 adopted "Minimum Dimensions
for Designing Off-Street Parking Layouts" in Resolution No. 62R-R6R; and
WHEREAS, after four years of using the original standards the following additions
and amendments were found to be necessary:
a
1. The addition of residenti.al garage or carport standards.
2. Private acces= drives amended to show the minimum width at 20 'eet to
be in con:ormance with the width of dedicated alleys.
3. A note ha= been added stating that landscaoing shall be provided a=_
required by the individual zone, and that parked vehicles shzll not be
permitted to overhang the required landscaping.
4. A note has been added requi*ing the use of bumper blocks.
5. The original title has been reduced from "Minimum Dimensions for Designing
Off-Stree~ Parking Layouts" to "Minimum Off-Street Parking Dimensions".
N04N, TH~2EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Plznnir.g Commi=sion does hereby
recommend to the City Council of the City of Anaheim that "Off-Street Pa*king Dimension=",
as depicted on Exhibit "A" revised attached hereto znd referred to herein ac though set
forth in full, be adopted.
